This is also my 2nd preamp from Arek, when you have a repeat customer you know the product and service is good. Super transparent and detailed sound without harshness, the display is easy to read from my listening position and helpful to have a base volume level and the remote control has great angles of infrared reception so you’re not struggling to point it at the right angle for the receiver. It’s also very nicely weighted and shaped to be comfortable in the hand. Adding the active stage helps drive long cables and a 2nd set of rca to the amp that runs my passive subwoofer! The khozmo also looks very nice with wooden cheeks that have that freshly oiled smell and the faceplate is super thick and chunky. the volume knob is a rotary with nice clicks and really smooth enjoyable to use rotation. I couldn’t be more happy with the preamp. I’ll never use a dac with digital volume control again!

STEREO without Input Selector, XLR only. Po pierwsze, nie warto psuć sobie humoru słuchaniem muzyki bezpośrednio po wyjęciu urządzenia z pudełka i podłączeniu do grajeł… powinno uczciwie popracować kilka godzin. W moim przypadku było to nieco ponad 12 godzin. Łącznie po około 20 godzinach słuchania i eksperymentów z nagraniami DSD 2,82 MHz bezpośrednio porównywanymi z nagrywanymi dźwiękami okazało się, że, najprawdopodobniej, mam około 500 nowych płyt, to znaczy brzmią zauważalnie inaczej niż na poprzedniej gale od głośności. Nie wszystkie zmiany będą mnie cieszyć ( przynajmniej tak to brzmi dzisiaj ). Jednak zawsze chciałem mieć grajła wyławiające żałosne dokonania realizatorów nagrań. No to mam. Przedwzmacniacz pracuje z Korgiem DS-DAC-100 i Focalami Shape Twin. Pracuje ekstremalnie precyzyjnie pod każdym względem. Poprzednia gała głośności ( profesjonalne urządzenie studyjne ) miała tendencję do uśredniania nagrań, co, jak się okazuje nie było bezwzględnie złe… 😉 Ale… Po pierwsze, niezgodne z założeniami i celami mojej polityki grajłowej. Po drugie, jak się okazało, nieco psuło efekt wow w przypadku bardzo udanych realizacji. Stereofonia i barwa jest stabilna i wiarygodna. Fortepian i wokalistka nigdzie nie “lewitują”. Wykonania orkiestrowe mają poukładanych instrumentalistów, czy zgodnie z ich realnymi pozycjami w orkiestrze w trakcie dokonywania nagrań…? Nie mnie, o tym wyrokować. Pięć gwiazdek za całokształt i wszystko, co się na niego składa. Jakby tego było mało to jeszcze kontakt z panem Arkadiuszem również budzi jedynie pozytywne odczucia. Wszystko to skutkuje poczuciem pełnego zadowolenia z dokonanego zakupu.

Sam przedwzmacniacz nie pozorny a tyle dobrego wniósł do mojego systemu.Dźwięk się ożywił wszystko nabrało oddech ,bardziej czytelna scena .Przedwzmacniacz Khozmo zagrał zdecydowanie lepiej niż dedykowane Pre. do mojej końcówki mocy.
